Hello all
I have this weird problem with Xorg on fresh installation.. I put gdm as login manager in /etc/conf.d/xdm and did rc-update add xdm default. However i am geting error with something like:
Device section "Configured Video Device" must have a Driver line
Fatal server error:
no screens found
However if I loog in as root and do /etc/init.d/xdm restart GDM starts just fine and i am able to log into Gnome. So there must be something i am doing wrong since X seems OK but it just fail to start on boot. Any advices ? _________________ My blog is here |
