Is there a way to have totem load the subtitle track by default? mkv files have an option to set that, but evidently totem ignores it (but I prefer totem over mplayer for the outstanding playlist, and since mplayer flickers when I have compiz enabled).
Or, failing that, is there any way to use the keyboard to load the subtitles -- be that via command line or by shortcuts? I already read the totem manpage, and totems config file and couldn't find anything... but it just seems absolutely retarded to lack both of these abilities. On my desktop it's not a big deal to use my mouse to load subtitles, but I'd like to operate my media PC entirely with my bluetooth mini keyboard... _________________ Core2Duo T7100 1.8 ghz mini-itx, Nvidia FX220: Gentoo/Gnome/CompizFusion:XGL

Select subtitles with Alt+V -> U while in windowed mode (assuming you're running English locale). I don't know if there are any better ways. _________________ PKA Cuber

Ah, I don't know why I didn't think of that. Not the ideal solution, but it works. Thanks. _________________ Core2Duo T7100 1.8 ghz mini-itx, Nvidia FX220: Gentoo/Gnome/CompizFusion:XGL
