I've had this machine for a year or so now and had no trouble getting everything working sweet, however there is one little annoyance i wonder if anybody can help me with.
I disable the suspend to ram on lid down as it bugs the hell out of me and instead use the right click on KPowerSave -> "suspend to ram" which works fine - so long as i let it suspend and power off before putting the lid down. If i put the lid down before this has completed the thing doesn't sleep and upon opending the lid the LCD backlight is stuck off, and although occasionally messing about switching between TTY's sometimes gets it back i usually have to resort to a power cycle.
Can anybody suggest how i can fix this? _________________ Too easy! |
