Hi!
I just installed Gento a few days ago and I'm really suprised by it's performance.
The only thing I don't really understand is why gentoo doest'n use the standard rc0.d/ - rc5.d/ directories with the start and stop numbers as normally used by all other dists I know, to configure the serveral runlevels.
Is this just another difference to the other dists or is there any depper concept behind that "strange" runlevel/init system.
thanks in advance,
