The horrible screen problem remains with 2.6.31-rc2.
Anyone else who uses Intel (945 GM here) and has similar problems with the rc2?
Thanks

yes, i believe this is an upstream issue but i have not yet been able to figure out what the problem is.
I think 2.6.31-rc2 has a few regressions :O, i can't get it to boot myself (2.6.30 is fine though)
I also updated master-2.6.30 to 2.6.30.1 and added zen-notes to it. _________________ IRC!: #zen-sources on irc.rizon.net

2.6.31 over the last few days seems to not like my hostapd setup. I saw a few updates to p54usb today that looked like they might've fixed it, but no luck.
I've got a 2.6.30-gentoo-r1 kernel with almost identical setup that works fine. Any ideas?

Hmm... by any chance, are you seeing any "unable to enumerate device" messages in dmesg when it stops working? I was having a problem like that last week and thought it was my PCI/USB card going bad... but now I'm not so sure. |

With the branch of linux (2.6.31-rc2), I have two guitarist penguin at boot up. I lost my hate now. Don't know why zen-sources does not like my guitarists. _________________ Anyway it's all the same at the end...

doing a gcc upgrade, and have run into a block compiling reiser4progs
this fails with and without distcc.
apparently it is fixed in the stable tree, the bug is here, yet the fix hasn't seemed to have made it into the overlay.
