Anyone know if this is possible?
Im using an nvidia geforce 4 440 mx agp card and a S3 Tirio64 PCI card in a failing attempt at dual heading.
My bios will only allow for either agp or pci to be working. Any one know of any tricks to basically fuck the bios over? |

LOL... well, anyway, I would take a look at Xinerama, or maybe getting a GeForce3 card or something with dual display built in. Not very good with this kinda stuff... _________________ old outdated sig |

Yeah, im using xinerama. The thing is..if you set the bios to auto, it goes for the pci card and basically ignores the agp. If you set it for agp, it'll ignore the pci card. The IRQs aren't conflicting at all. Not much luck on dell forums. Funny thing is, if i have one monitor with dvi i into the geforce, and another with vga , they both work on boot up and in the terminal
it SHOULD work..but its not..so screw dell and those POS interns.. |
