Hi, I just installed gentoo, but noticed that I am unable to boot up. It says something about /dev/hda1 (my /boot partition) having a corrupt superblock. Can anyone help? |

Is /dev/hda1 really your boot device (device where bootloader - normally grub - and your kernel is located)?
Did you mount /dev/hda1 during your installation?
What driver do you use for your PATA harddisks? Newer drivers usually use /dev/sda1 as harddisk devices.
Please post a little more info so we can help |

In the installation, my first partition was recognized as hda1. My main partition (aka the 'root' partition) is hda3. I have gentoo installed on virtualbox. As for the driver for the hd, I have no clue. |
