I'm using a dual boot laptop with Gentoo, Windows Vista and a bluetooth mouse, on the Gentoo side I'm using bluez-4.39-r2.
Whenever I've paired the mouse in either OS I have to re-pair it in the other OS to get it to work. After same time I finally figured out that this is due to the linkkey being different on the OS'. Trying to find a solution I tried to use the hciconfig hci0 putkey command as described here. The command does not provide any return, as seems to be normal, but it does not solve the problem either. Another attempted solution was to rename the hci adapter, as described here. This didn't work either. I figured that I could write the linkkey to /var/lib/bluetooth/*/linkkeys, but I haven't been able to extract the linkkey that Vista uses.
Does anybody know about a solution for this problem? |
