|
|
I am having a physical windows 7 installation for the following software:
1) ms office
2) adobe cs suite
3) ms visual studio
4) games (CoD, GTA, LFS)
OK, office and vs runs ok on a virtualbox vm.
What about gaming? I know that vbox doesn't currently support directx. Any other solution? (ya, except wine..)
And finally, what about the cs suite (mainly premiere, but i also use the rest occasionally). Are there any performance issues?
Thanks
PS: I would like 1st-hand experiences, not quotes from people that had success. |

games would be horrendous, you'd be better off dualbooting for gaming..
CS suite would be dependent on how fast your cpu is and how much ram u've allotted to the VM, obviously.. other than that, no issues _________________

I think I can allocate 8-9gb of ram to the adobe cs vm, that should be more than enough.
Only chance for gaming is wine? |
