Hi, did you change your profile during your installation process ?
Because, I think that the best solution right now is to do that.
Change your /etc/make.conf so that you have only this :
Code: |
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=native -pipe"
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
MAKEOPTS="-j3"
USE="-kde -qt3support -qt4 -xfce gnome"
LINGUAS="en"
INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard mouse evdev"
VIDEO_CARDS="vesa nvidia"
|
After that, run this :
This will recompile your installation with your new cflags and your opengl problem will be gone I think. |

Alright. I changed my prfile to 1 instead of 2, and in make.conf I changed everything. But I kept the mirrors. |

Hi, you still need to use the desktop profile.
Can you post this :
Code: |
# eselect profile list

Ok, now since you changed your cflags and all the rest, you need to run this :
After that, you will need to post this :
Code: |
# emerge --info
# rc-update show
|
And install this :
Code: |
# emerge -av eix gentoolkit portage-utils
|
|
|

Alright. It's emerging everything. That'll take a while. In the meantime I will post those.
emerge --info:
http://pastebin.com/d3249de01
rc-update show:
http://pastebin.com/d7c46c8e4
Also when I boot up, net.eth0 starts, even though it's not shown in rc-update. I use wlan0 not eth0, so this is a pain. X was still not compiling, but hopefully after this update it will. Thanks. |

Also, emerge -e world failed. An xorg package had "file collisions". I think while installing some programs in the past, some xorg programs were installed. I did not have -X inside my use tags. There are Xorg packages on my system that I think may be causing these issues with installing Xorg. |
