Converting a set of files on the command line (using vorbis-tools and mpg123) could be done with: Code: | for FILE in *; do
mpg123 -w- "$FILE" | oggenc -b320 --resample 48000 -o"$(echo "$FILE" | sed -e 's/\.mp3$/.ogg/i')" -
done | Not tested!
When you say "making some edits", are you refering to tags? _________________ PKA Cuber

Oh, and by the way, this is still variable bit rate. If you need it to be exactly 320 kbps for some reason, you need to add the --managed option to oggenc (though that would be a bad idea unless you're streaming or something). _________________ PKA Cuber

Why would you want to do that tho? If you're worried about quality you shouldn't transcode from mp3. If you're not, why not use a quality setting for ogg vorbis like -q5 instead? _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln
