I'm pretty sure spreadshirt has multiple distribution locations and can be expanded from the current store listing at http://22258.spreadshirt.de/
They have laptop sleeves there
http://www.spreadshirt.com/us/US/T-Shirt/Apparel-2107/departmentId/6/categoryId/54/productTypeId/619/type/detail/colorId/372
The idea of a track jacket is kind of neat also.
You have the standard cafepress options with idakoos plus a few other oddities like a fleece vest? I don't think I've ever seen anyone wear one.
I would probably buy a gentoo tie from zazzle and definately buy one of their embroidered jackets (you can even make custom shoes there ).
A frosted glass or beer sleeve from printfection might sell well also.
Just a few suggestions for shop alternatives...
Edit:
Just found customdropshipper.com where you can get a multitude of items including watches, cd cases, laptop sleeves, flasks, keychains, microfiber cloths (that would be cool), christmas ornaments, dinner plates, I think they have the largest selection of products as far as print-on-demand drop shipping online market places go.
Also forgot about print mojo... if you have a store set up there, even only one item purchased... they'll work with you for warehousing, printing, and shipping items you provide by shipping to them such as cds and dvds... _________________ Steve - Semper Fi |

well that's nice, but how about using SI units of measurement so us mainland europeans don't need to google for a conversion? |

Is anything happening with the store? A greater range of merch. would be awesome.
Why not have a contest? Even those with no artsy skills could contribute with ideas (like, submitting a short description) and the arty ones amid us could flesh them out. I for one would love some witty Gentoo related t-shirts - there's so much scope!
Simple ideas:
- USE="sociallife"
- Larry approves your USE flags.
- +hardened
etc. _________________ $ ./lurk;

I'm in the planning stages of putting together a contest for some Larry the cow Graphics. I need to add the license requirements, get with musikc as she runs the store, find out the correct size, file type etc. I think we will need two sizes, when I have made my own t-shirts on cafe press I like a small graphic on the pocket area and another larger one on the back, but this is just my personal taste. You need the graphic you will use near to the size needed because when you resize on their site you can only change the size a little. We can offer the top three contestants something like 3 free t-shirts with their graphics. Not sure how long to run the contest, 90 days? All comments / suggestions welcome. Here is what I have so far, just to get started.

Excellent, I will definitely be up for entering that. 90 days seems fine to me.
Are there any svgs of Larry around that people can use? Might be a good idea to put some stock images up (svgs of Gentoo logo, Larry, etc) to help people.
Edit: Fixed grammar. _________________ $ ./lurk;

"# emerge moo" output
I was wondering, this is just for the US shop right?
The european seems to be just a free spreedsheat page with 1-3 Logos on T-Shirts? _________________ Gentoo on Uptime Project - Larry is a cow |

I have a major problem with T-Shirts I ordered recently...
Somehow XXL and XXXL got smaller, because I didn't really put on weight. For example the XXL "# emerge life" doesn't fit at all (except as a professional cycling outfit).
The "Fork You" from linux.com US fits well in XXXL for example.
But I used to wear XL in all cloths before, all my life!!!!!!!!
So please make them a little bigger rather than smaller _________________ Gentoo on Uptime Project - Larry is a cow |

Not specifically for me as I've just ordered a Logitech illuminated keyboard, but how about a keyboard ?!?
Instead of having the nutty windows key, this keyboard would have the "the larry the cow" key.
Then a special script could open the sys_default navigator to the gentoo forum for requesting help on something (ok, just kidding about that key binding, but not kidding about the keyboard idea).
Or a USB drive, with the larry the cow printed on it. Or directly having the shape of larry the cow, if the future design can allow that (and the prices too) ?
Or a mouse ?
Or a gentoo keyring ?
Just giving ideas though. |

Cow is a female, so Larry the Cow is female. Otherwise it would have been Larry the bull. |

regarding the t-shirt designs, do you know how much of freedom of drawing could we have?
I mean, is it possible to create particular designs e.g. using the t-shirt shape? _________________ Gentoo user since 2004.

No, as far as cafepress is concerned, you can place the logo in different spots, like on the front or where a pocket would be or on the back etc. You can change the size some but there is a range that you have to work with. _________________ http://dev.gentoo.org/~dabbott/ |
