Cannot start apache2

I've recently upgrade my apache to 2.0.48 and now i can't start it :

run updatedb and then type locate libxslt and see if that file comes up in the list

I've already done that, and the file doesn't apppear

does libxsltbreakpoint.so.1.0.8 come up?

post the output of the locate command

step1: download httpd 2.x

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-mod=most --enable-access --enable-so (This step is the import )

make;make install

step2: download mysql 4.x and install it

step3:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/php --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs &&
make &&
make install

The apache2 ebuild already compiles with --enable-so no ?
Mysql has anything to do with my error ... :wink:

But i try to do it manually ... will see !

Finally you were right i added --enable-mods=most and everything is working now

¿What did you done exactly?

I Upgraded today all system (including apache and mod_php ebuild) and the same problem apears.

I tried somethings like re-emerge apache or mod_php, modify apache2 ebuild to add --enable-mods=most on ./configure action... I have no more ideas
