|
|
Lo gentoo friends,
i use a laptop and tried to install a usb mouse in addition to my touchpad device.
as i did, i must have done something that caused failures in my kernel.
would be nice if someone could take a look on this and guide me to improve my settings.
there are of strange lines in this, which i don't understand.
i think the messages regarding sound result from my recompiling the kernel without recompiling or inserting the sound modules.
Seems as if the usb mouse would also be discovered but..
i wonder what this acpi & agp messis are meaning.
as i said, maybe someone has some ideas on that :)
thx
this is what dmesg says:

I dont remember where this is in the kernel compilation... maybe someone else can help here... but my wild guess is that it's in partitions or file systems.... if you dont need it... turn it off....

I think this might be linked to the incorrect agp module as well....
If I am wrong on any of this... someone let me know... for I have only compiled a kernel 7 times... ( with only 1 fail ) Woo Hoo ![Razz :P](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) _________________ If I was in my right mind. Would I still make left turns? |
