Hi
ich habe ein Problem mit meiner Soundkarte.
Ich bekomme diesen einfach nicht zum laufen. Ich habe Alsa nach dem tutorial auf gentoo.de instaliert.
Aber ich bekomme kein ton raus. Ich habe ale so instaliert:
env ALSA_CARDS='emu10k1' emerge alsa-driver
Ich hab ne Creative Soundblaster Audigy 1.
Nach dem Liste von also zufolge war es der emu10k1 den ich als treiber instalieren musste.
Also wenn ich z.B. eine Sounddatei starte läuft diese ganz nroaml durch ohne einen Fehler zu verurschen, aber ich höre nichts.
Ich kenne mich mit gentoo noch nicht so aus wenn ihr logs oder so braucht sagt bescheid wo die liegen und ich geb sie
Ich denke mal so eine Standatd Soundkarte dürfte doch nicht so viele Probleme verurschen oder?
Achso gut wäre es auch wenn zum Schluss auch die DolbySouround Funktion aktiviert wäre, aber das ist erstma nebensächlich. |

hast du auch unmute verwendet?
beim ersten reboot nach der installation war meine sb live wieder stumm. der nächste reboot hat das behoben, fragt mich aber nicht warum. |

hast du überhaupt die Lautstärke geregelt? mit alsamixer geht das sehr einfach... ansonsten: die logs liegen unter /var/log/, aber bei mir loggt alsa garnichts. Hast du alsasound per rc-update automatisch starten lassen? Hast du die config-Dateien richtig eingerichtet? steht alles in der Anleitung... |

ich habe alles haargenau nach der anleitung gemacht. Alles unmuted und lautstärke ist auch auf voll
ich guck mal kurz in die logs....
Also da steht nicht auch nicht in messages.
Woran kann den sowas liegen? Also ich hab die konfigurationsdatein so eingerichtet wie es in der anleitung stand.
Wenn ihr eine sehn wollt sagt welche. |

Also soll ich jetzt konkret im kernel audigy support aktivieren und oss oder wie?
und alsa nochma neu kompilieren. |

Hallo
Okay, gehen wir das mal der Reihe nach durch. Welchen Kernel benutzt Du und was hast Du da soundmässig aktiviert? Wenn Du alsa benutzen willst und einen 2.4er Kernel verwendest, solltest Du Sound Card Support und Oss Sound Modules als Modul bauen. Mehr nicht. Anschliessend , diesen Kernel booten und, wie Du schon richtig gesagt hast, das emu10k1 Alsa Modul bauen. Dann würde ich mal versuchen es zu laden und dabei /var/log/messages beobachten. Vielleicht hast Du das ja auch schon alles richtig gemacht. Was sagt denn "lsmod"? Kannst Du "alsamixer" ohne Fehlermeldung aufrufen?

Apropo ismod ich bekomme beim booten nen haufen ismod fehler.
Ich kann die net so schnell lesen wie se da sind.
Ich hab im Kernel oss nicht mit instaliert. |

Nun versorge uns doch bitte mal mit ein paar konkreteren Infos. Was sagt "depmod -a"? Was sagt "lspci"? Was sagt "lsmod"? Was sagt "uname -r"?

Hm, das gibt mir zu denken. Used 0. Bau doch Oss Module Support als Modul dazu (CONFIG_SOUND_OSS=m). Irgendwas stimmt da nicht. Du kannst testweise auch mal den emu10k1 Treiber von Creative versuchen (emerge emu10k1).

So nu geht der Sound hab alles nochma mit oss kompiliert nu is es k.
Nochma ne Frage wie stelle ich nun dolby sourund unterstützung ein?

So das hab ich jetzt so weit. Zum testen hab ich mir mal die demo von ut2003 runtergeladen. Aber dort ist die Soundqualität recht schecht, was kann ich dagegen tun?

Naja ich merk schon ich sollte selber mehr fummeln und dann erst fragen. Dieses Problem hab ich auch gelöst. Sorry. Nächstes mal beachte ich das gloich |
