So, is there a maintainer for GNUstep on Gentoo?

grobian@gentoo.org is the new maintainer -- quite active

Wow, this thread is historic. But as a GNUstep coder and maintainer, I wonder how the situation of GNUstep is on Gentoo and if there are still some users... there were times when Gentoo was one of the top-notch gnustep systems and there were also very dark times...
Lots of fixes and updates in GNustep lately and several orhpaned applications were touched up to work again...

I'm still here. I haven't played with GNUstep in a while, however, even though it's probably more useful than ever since it started tracking Cocoa.

Just been too busy with work. I've been using XFCE and helping a bit on the forums.

Hypnos, who mantains the packages currently? It would be nice to check if the available apps are up-to-date with what gap and gnustep offer, update the missing evrsions and package the new ones. GAP has incorporated some orphaned apps.

You can see the state of affairs by exploring the main tree:

gnustep-apps
gnustep-base
gnustep-libs

as well as the overlay.

Looks like voyageur (voyageur <AT> gentoo.org) is still in charge ...
