Hi
Having recently installed 'gentoo amd64' I have found that when trying to use 'users-admin' the screen freezes on the 'user settings (as superuser)' screen. If I access this from the main menu then it will not close, the only way out is to logout.
If I use '# - /usr/bin/users-admin' from terminal then I have to close the terminal to remove the 'user settings screen'. I have re-emerged 'gnome-system-tools' but still have the same problem.
'services-admin' 'time-admin' 'network-admin' all work fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

This does not sound like it is necessarily an amd64 problem.
I would expect that the most likely forum to receive a reply from
someone who has encountered this problem before would
be Desktop Environments, where Gnome users ask and answer
questions about issues with Gnome installations. If you do not
get a reply there, try some Gnome-specific forum that is not
specific to any linux distribution. _________________ TIA |
