yea me too but ever since i have done this i get really weird errors
when im installing i have installed gentoo on this g3 B/W 2 times now no problems but now its telling me i cant emerge system cause a virtual
/linux-sources its there
any ideas ? |

sys-apps/lsof depends on virtual/linux-sources. This is a new thingy that we inherited when we moved (today) to x86 portage. I guess the build iso isn't set up for it. Until there's a new iso, try removing lsof from the system package list: edit /usr/portage/profile/default-ppc/packages so that there's no * in front of sys-apps/lsof. Hopefully this won't break other things; once the rest of your system is installed, emerge sys-kernel/ppc-sources, emerge lsof, and put the * back in packages. |
