echo password | losetup -e aes /dev/loop/6 /mnt/storage/backup.enc
I used that before, which worked, but now that asks for a password.
note that the script to do it is stored on an encrypted drive, so I feel the security of that password is more than enough (atleast considering what it's backing up).
any suggestions? |

You forgot the -p 0 parameter ...

You forgot the -p 0 parameter ...
damit, I removed that because I was rememebering it as what hash to use, which was wrong of course.. thanks |
