cannot mount samba share from MATE menu

Hi all,

I recently set up a samba server, and I'm having trouble accessing it through MATE's "Connect to Server..." option in the "Places" menu. When I open the "Connect to Server..." item, the expected "Windows Share" option is missing. (It's there in, say, Ubuntu's MATE implementation, and works as expected there.) I can successfully mount the share via the command line, but I'd like to have a GUI option for doing so as well. Is there a package, or use flag needed for a current package, that I've been overlooking?
