|
|
Hello,
when I emerged Firefox, I endet up with Aurora which is Firefox in version 17.0.7 or something like that.
Many addons do not work with this version, is there a way to get a more recent version?
Regards

See this thread: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-966802-highlight-.html
You can use this to do it: Code: | echo 'www-client/firefox ~amd64' >> /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords
echo 'www-client/firefox -bindist' >> /etc/portage/package.use |

Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |

Yes, make the changes it demands. Portage doesn't arbitrary ask you to keyword packages. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

If found the problem, the guide state:.
Quote: | Examine the diff output, press q to exit the pager (if you don't see commands at the end), and then u for use-new if you want to accept the alterations. |
I was a little confused by this, pressing u, without q before solved the problem. |
