Sup people,I was wondwring if you could help me. Everytime i try to restart my samba service an error shows up and say:
| Code: | dangerous root # /etc/init.d/samba restart
* Starting samba...
/usr/sbin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libacl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/nmbd: error while loading shared libraries: libacl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [ !! ]

My samba service run automaticaly when my system start running. Dont know what is the problem, /usr/sbin/smbd and /usr/sbin/nmbd exits. Im sure is not a smb.conf problem cuz I didnt really touch it yet. |

i dont know where libacl.so.1 is from... i dont have the file installed.
maby you should check your useflags, and reemerge samba.

| I have try to reemerge it but no result. The same error shows up. Any other idea?? |
