Is it normal that updating teamspeak from 3.0.13.1 to 3.0.16 (very minor update) requires qt*-5 ?
Code: | # emerge -DpuN world 2>&1 | wgetpaste

Hi! novazur,
This is not due to the update of teamspeak, but the fact that qt5 is now active in the Portage tree, and that every ebuild supporting qt5 will bring it up _________________ Kind regards,

?
/usr/portage/media-sound/teamspeak-client-bin/teamspeak-client-bin-3.0.16.ebuild contains :
Code: | RDEPEND="
dev-qt/qtcore:5
dev-qt/qtgui:5[accessibility]
dev-qt/qtnetwork:5
dev-qt/qtsql:5[sqlite]
dev-qt/qtwidgets:5 |
and
Code: | # grep teamspeak /etc/portage/package.mask
=media-sound/teamspeak-client-bin-3.0.16
# emerge -DpuN world
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done! |

It's proprietary software. If you don't like it, ask for a refund |

Tu édites tes messages et réagis de façon agressive, en me tariitant de con sur base de tes réponses incomplètes.
On a déjà viré ton alter ego, et si tu continues, cela t'arrivera aussi. _________________ Kind regards,

Not a problem with license but with ebuild. It's in portage. |

If you think it works with Qt4, why don't you try out for yourself? |

There's nothing wrong with the ebuild, it's just doing what upstream forces it - and you - to do.
Again - this is proprietary software. Don't shoot the messenger, you chose to use it and all the downsides that come with it. |
