removal of the amd64 subsection

Is it worth considering removing that subforum, 64 bit processors have been out for a while, 64bit and 32bit are pretty much in step, multilib now compiles locally

We had actually discussed this internally a while ago and for the most part concluded that it should be locked, but as you can tell we have yet to. Thanks for the reminder.
