Hi Gentoo people,
I'm running gentoo prefix on a amd64 RHEL machine, and am unable to emerge --update. The problem, I think, is that there is no sys-devel/binutils-config new enough to satisfy sys-libs/binutils-libs (a new package?). The error I get when trying the update:
Code: |
$ emerge --ask --update --deep --newuse --with-bdeps=y @world
!!! Problem with sandbox binary. Disabling...
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=sys-devel/binutils-config-5".
(dependency required by "sys-libs/binutils-libs-2.25.1-r1::gentoo_prefix" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "x11-libs/cairo-1.14.4::gentoo_prefix" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "app-text/texlive-core-2015::gentoo_prefix" [installed])
(dependency required by "dev-texlive/texlive-fontsextra-2015::gentoo_prefix" [installed])
(dependency required by "@selected" [set])
(dependency required by "@world" [argument])

Is there anything I can do to get around this, or do I just have to wait for sys-devel/binutils-config-5 to make it to the prefix overlay?
Thanks!

Code: | USE="-sandbox" emerge foo |
Might that help when emerging the world? _________________ Whatever you do, do it properly! |
