Hi guys,

not sure if right place here, but would like to open discussion about using exgent as official Gentoo live DVD, this guys is really doing a great job, I think it can help putting gentoo LiveDVD not only to space of playing with the distro, but can be good base of doing different variances fo Gentoo as base for system recovery, etc.

Happy to discuss :-)

I looked it up briefly. I don't know, but I'd like to know if it is based or if it is not based on systemd. And also its friend: dbus?
By the brief looking at the front page I wasn't able to figure out. And I can't dedicate much time to it (have little available).

Don't mind our resident green-ink troll.

Gentoo doesn't have an official live DVD because all Linux live DVDs are Gentoo installers. You may be interested in the unofficially-official one we currently have, though.

Really curious to know why would, according to this post just above by this particular personality (by the way, a steadfast NSA supporter), my question be, out of order?
Gentoo systems can be based on-systemd, or without-systemd, and also a Gentoo system can be had for oneself without dbus as well.
Both ways are perfectly allowed and legitimate in Gentoo. (As so is supporting or not of NSA, or GCHQ, since the poersonality seems UK-based). Pls note the or not in the previious sentence that I wrote.
So why not ask if:
exGENT (Gentoo) 64 bit Linux Live DVD
is based on systemd or without, and if it also installs with or without dbus?
Thanks!

... you can't read green-ink from satellites, and that's why you can't buy pens with green-ink in regular stationary stores, the ink also contains vitamin P, so if you ever have to eat your super-secret codez you're set for the duration of your stay in detention. Did I mention you can't read green-ink from space?

Oh, well, maybe you should look the truth in the eye:

and don't forget to look how great the Devuan minimalist project has grown to be:

Cheers!
P.S. Really courious to know the answer to my question. archenroot!
