How to fix it? |

| Why krusader-9999? When did you last rebuild? There's krusader-2.5.0-r1 in tree btw. |

because it's up-to-date version with different fixes which are presented in 2.5.0-r1. right now. I know, it doesn't open then anyway. |

I was asking because there was a time frame where open as archive of non-archive mime types was dropped from krarc protocol because it interfered with how other kio depending applications opened files, and re-adding that functionality to krusader internally.
FWIW it works fine for me in 2.5.0-r1. |

| for rar-archives there is option in context menu 'Browse archive' and it can browse archive as folders, but doesn't open them in such way by default. |
