|
|
Hi everyone,
I am trying to install Gentoo with a minimal installation CD on a virtual machine but I got stuck at the downloading of the Stage3. The error message obtained with the link command is "Error loading .... connection refused" whenever I try to download the tarball (-->download --> click over stage 3) or connecting to a mirror. When trying to download the file link shows the statuses "Making connection" and "Making connection to another address".
The ping is working.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Paolo |

I have just mounted the mtn/gentoo, moved there and then I call Code: | wget -O outputFile http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/autobuilds/20180218/systemd/stage3-amd64-systemd-20180218.tar.bz2 |
Otherwise I use link to go to http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/autobuilds and download stage3:
Code: | links https://www.gentoo.org/downloads/mirrors/
| Then I clicks on the Download option and finally on the first Stage 3 option. |

It gives me the same error also when downloading from the browser in the live cd. I am able to browse normally (I am currently on the live cd) but when I try to downloads the files I get "unable to connect". |
