Hi moderators.

I've just seen several unsuccessful posts of mine appear in my user panel, which I can't even read as there's no topic content to read. They're safe to delete. Strangely enough I was attempting to ask for help on a platform that's not related to Gentoo but to the forum of which I couldn't post either .

There's a bug in the phpBB HTML wrapping code that is triggered by title length near the maximum and, less likely, post body length that reaches the maximum. Although we've made no recent changes to the deployed forum software, we've seen a rash of these lately.

If you still want to post this topic, try shortening the title, which I see is close to the maximum length. We can clean up the mess for you thereafter.

Yeah, sorry; I'm afraid the post body is lost. I can poke around in the database this evening to make sure but I don't even think the post body was stored because the title parsing threw an error before the body write was attempted.
