|
|
I know that the docs that I want are available at the Gentoo Documentation Site, but are there PDF or PS versions of them?
Printing the webpages is generally not an attractive solution, since the web pages are wider than the paper.
I guess pulling down offline versions of the documentation would be one option. But I am lazy, dammit!
Thanks for any help.

There is a project in embryonic stages to deal with this. If you're interested in helping out, please post in this thread. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Isn't the source of the site available to download... and in xml to boot?
You could have a lot a fun with that. |

If you have lynx emerged you can always dump the doc you want to a local html file, e.g:
Code: | lynx -dump -source 'http://www.gentoo.org/doc/faq.html' > faq.html |
Then convert html to the format you want (e.g: for pdf you can use htmldoc). _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
