Hi,
Somebody just sent me this via PM. drobbins gave this very good speech in Poland.
It explains a lot how he feels about gentoo, his quiting, working for microsoft etc.
I personally really enjoyed this video.
I was shocked learning that Sony Playstation Now is on Gentoo 8O

Thanks.
He seems to have some specific issues. I'd be curious to hear "the other side."
I also think it is interesting that no one has been able to create a better Gentoo (more specifically the mechanism that is Portage / ebuilds). Or if they have, I haven't heard of it.

I'm also curious about full story about politics. It was good times when drobbing was here and there were merch to buy. I bought some gentoo stickers 2 days ago from another website.
How does gentoo portage compares to FreeBSD one? What gentoo portage does better?
It seems that not many people are interested in ebuilds in general and Gentoo is the only core distro that is focused on compiling.
