Hi,
i try since a while i try to make my dualshock 3 and/ or dualshock 4 controller to pair and connect.
The configuration is:
systemd
libinput
bluetooth
i use kernel 5.6.4 now.
also tried it with older kernel.
when i pair the dualshock 4 by the guide:

i get the following messages in udevadm monitor:
Quote:

pair KERNEL[584.924260] add /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.3/0000:05:00.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:71 (bluetooth)
UDEV [584.926673] add /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.3/0000:05:00.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:71 (bluetooth)
KERNEL[591.152636] remove /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.3/0000:05:00.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:71 (bluetooth)
UDEV [591.154844] remove /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.3/0000:05:00.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:71 (bluetooth)

whatever i try, i can not connect.
i followed the following wiki:
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Sony_DualShock
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Bluetooth_input_devices

I think the problem is, that no input device is created (even not a js device)

any idea will be apreciated
:)
(sorry for my bad english)

thank you in advance

christian

I had similar problems last month. Hu helped me out. I can't tell by your post what might be wrong, but check out my thread, it might contain the clue you need to get it to work.

https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1109594-highlight-.html

I just checked and my controllers still pair. I have kernel 5.6.5 installed.

Edit: I bet it's your kernel config...
