I'm looking for some step by step instructions or any info at all to getting java (whichever jdk i choose) working in galeon. |

java seems to work from emerging a java-jdk or a java-jre and nothing else. It wasnt working for me just before but somehow now it does. And i had even restarted galeon. |

After installing the java plugin, you need to start galeon as root, for it to work. No idea why, but this seems to work !!

emerge sun-jdk
One of the last lines should confirm the mozilla plugin has been installed, which provides galeon with java support also. I'm not sure if the other jdk's or jre's automatically install the java browser plug-in though. |

Hi!
You need to have 'mozilla' in your USE variable for the plugin to be installed in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins Galeon will use all the mozilla plugins installed.
