Apparently they've sync'd up again for 2.6.1-mm2

- Big update for the SuperH architecture
- x86_64 udpate
- SELinux update
- Many more NFS client patches. These mainly affect the experimental NFSv4
or RPCSEC_GSS, so they are unlikely to be noticed.
- The filesystem AIO patches were getting in the way of testing the normal
readahead code and were making O_DIRECT testing tricky. Those patches have
been dropped for now.

Hi guys
Wondered if the Silicon Image 3112 SerialATA fix was included?
I'll check 2.6.1 to see if its been included already ...

@Redeeman: the nvidia-agp patch is here
@scoobydu: I didn't include it in the patch I posted, but I was about to start on 2.6.1-love2, so if you want to post a link to it I'll add it in.
glaskows wrote: | Is the 2.6.1-love1-r1.patch.bz2 already incorporated into love-sources-2.6.1-r1 or is a patch for it?
If the second... how do i use the patch? |
The .bz2 contains all the patches for 2.6.1-love1-r1. You don't have to apply it yourself, just use the ebuild provided. _________________ Per Ardua Ad Astra

I'm back in gentoo now, tried debian for a week, but gentoo was better for my needs so here I am
I'm in bootstrap right now, I hope -love2 with radeon igp fixes will be there before the install is done, so I don't have to use an older kernel while waiting

What i wanted to ask.. are you guys using irc? I mean... i just don't want to post every second if i got a problem with the sources I mean... i still got the problems and no solution in sight... but hey: life goes on! |
i do |
as do i =) |
Of course I use IRC. Maybe we should start #love-sources on freenode (since all official gentoo channels are there). It would be a great way to discuss things about love-sources. hm..
/me goes to join #love-sources on freenode just to see if anyone else joins |

@scoobydu: I checked the thread on the forums which the SI 3112 fix was posted in, and it looks like it's already been fixed at some point. _________________ Per Ardua Ad Astra

Just have to say this is a solid patchset again. Successfully compiling a kernel in the back ground while playing the new King Arthur movie trailer through Opera and the mplayerplug-in with no skips in sound or frames. And this is on a PIII 500 with 512 mb memory. Loving it... _________________ --
