Hey people!

I can't figure out why i'm not able to update glibc on my system - so i hope someone here can help me! :-)

Probably related to -Wl,-fuse-ld=gold. You'll have to try narrow down the things you've done to your system. Your CFLAGS look wrong (and quite scary) too, as do some other variables in emerge --info.

Gentoo uses aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu. Don't change or you will have bigger problems.

To save your from yourself, the build system forces -fuse-ld=bfd. Notice that it comes after -fuse-ld=gold in the failed link command.
