Any advice on a custom build

I've been using Gentoo for some time but It's been a while since I've custom built a system. I'm starting to get back into the game but am unsure about compatibility and just some general newness of things.

The config I'm thinking about building out is here.

This will be a headless "server" (to replace my aging PowerEdge T620. Is there anything I should be concerned about?

This cpu apparently has 24 threads.
32Gigs of ram is too low.
Maybe min 64 would be great.

I think the case price does not show up because I already have it.

The memory... yeah that sounds like a good idea. I'll think about it. My current server has 32G but I'm not even using half of it but since I have the slots if I have any money left over I can get more RAM.

Seems like a lot for a headless server, but then I guess that all depends on what it needs to do.

My server is a AMD R7-2700x on an x470 MB with 32 gigs of RAM. One 1-TB NVME for /boot and / and One 1-TB platter drive for file storage. No swap partitions on the drives. It runs my firewall and network (wired and wireless) all printers & cron jobs, stores file as necessary and acts as my gentoo -rsync server mirror and an ftp server. I have ran an Apache testing server and 3 QUAKE/3 game servers in the past, on this hardware with ease. It just sits there and runs 24/7 doing its job without fail. Its total cost at the time it was built was less than 900 USD. Hardware is repurposed whenever possible.

I think cooling would be a concern for that processor.

My R7-2700x stays cool with a Corsair 240 AIO.

However my R9-3950x needs a 280 AIO minimum and I just barley keep my R9-5950x from throttling with a 360 AIO and 3 additional 120 fans in a high air flow case.

I agree with alamahant on the RAM and I would go for 64 gigs.

My thought for the day is that I have exactly zero faith in Thermaltake PSUs, even their "attempt at redemption" Toughpower series... History, both personal and in the general internet-consciousness.
Granted it has a 10-year warranty, so maybe Tt has fixed their problems. I still don't trust them one bit.

Personally I would straight-up trade the (IMO) pointless ARGB bling for another 100W of capacity with something like, say, the Corsair RM750. Same price, same warranty, better reputation...
If I was going to pair a top-of-the-line CPU with a $100 PSU to begin with that is, which I wouldn't. I deal with enough escaping magic smoke in my day-job as it is, I don't need any more at home.
