Hi,
I had a little idea for a utility that manages USE flags. I decided to call it euse, like ebuild or emerge but for use flags. So, alot of people have their package.use as a directory, and keep stuff like 01xorg for all their xorg packages use flags, etc. Now, it can be kinda a pain to get an overview of all your use flags (for every package) and see their locations, and do management, etc. I wrote this little python script that lists them for you. I'm planning on making it much larger, to include things like editing use flags, the equivalent of an emerge -pv, etc. Basically a one-stop-shop for USE flags, to make it much easier to manage them. You can find it in its current stage at https://github.com/terrenana/euse. I'm not really sure where it's going to go but I just thought I'd share to see what people think.
(yes I know I said etc like seven times)
Thanks! _________________ what should i put here? |

Hi,
you know "euse" already exists, do you ? It is part of package "app-portage/gentoolkit". Maybe try another name |

Damn. It also does exactly what I was thinking. Well I guess I predicted the naming convention pretty well, lmfao _________________ what should i put here? |
