Hallo!
Ich wollte von stage1 ohne Internetanbindung installieren, so wie es in der Alternativen Installationsanleitung dokumentiert ist.
Ich habe alles befolgt, was in der ANleitung drinsteht, doch wen ich | Code: | | dl-list.sh glibc baselayout texinfo gettext zlib binutils gcc ncurses > stage1.list |
eingebe, um die Paketliste zu generieren, gibt er _nichts_ aus, sprich die datei hat 0 byte Inhalt.
Danach hab ich mal testweise emerge -p gemacht, da bekomme ich auch einen Fehler, vielleicht liegt es daran? Er sagte irgendwas in der Art von "no profiles directory found".
Vielleicht kann ja jemand damit was anfangen oder hatte selbst schonmal das gleiche problem... |

hi, leider kenne ich deinen fehler nicht... ;-(
aber:
installier doch von stage3 aus - den vorteil von stage1 seh ich nicht wirklich... *duck*
dann geh weiter nach diesem thread vor:

da habe ich ein script gepostet, was wohl deinen bedürfnissen entsprechen dürfte...

Das dl-list script ist ein ziemlich alter hack und funktioniert mit neueren portages wahrscheinlich nimmer.
Dafür ist das aber inzwischen eingebaut:
emerge -p -f whatever > list.txt

Also gut,
meinetwegen installier ich auch mit stage3 und probier mal dein script aus, rootshell.
Dann hat sich bis dahin der Rest für mich ja erledigt, wobei ich glaub, dass irgendjemand hier immer noch eine Idee zur lösung dieses problems auf lager hat.

aaah, war zuerst wohl blind...
"no profile directory" - Das dürft' es sein
Schau mal in dein /etc - da sollte es einen symlink geben:
/etc/make.profile -> /usr/portage/profiles/default-x86-1.4
wenn nicht, anlegen!
