I can't seem to get integrated speakers to work no matter what. The laptop is pretty new so I guess the drivers could be still missing from the kernel? At least that is the case with the webcam (IPU6-based).
Any help appreciated.

jasu,
Do you have sys-firmware/sof-firmware installed?
Its needed by all of the sof-* drivers and you have sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl. _________________ Regards,

Hi NeddySeagoon,
I did not have that packaga. I installed it and got further. Now the headphone jack works (did not work prior) and Pulse Audio shows now an output devices!
There is
- Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio Controller HDMI / DisplayPort 1 Output
- Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio Controller HDMI / DisplayPort 2 Output
- Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio Controller HDMI / DisplayPort 3 Output
- Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio Controller Speaker + Headphones
I still can't get sound out of speaker but if I plug headphones, the Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio Controller Speaker + Headphones works |
