Hi,

While searching for some of the excellent responses I have got here previously, I noted that when using the link "View your posts" in the upper right corner to list them as usual, all was not included... Why is that, and could it be corrected please? It is a very convenient method to single out and keep track of posts :)

This is one example that for some reason was omitted

Thanks

G3nt00,

That's a feature, it shows something like posts over the last 6 weeks, which is fine to discover topics that would otherwise have dropped of your radar.

The search you want is from your profile page. The Find all Posts by ... link.
It will return the most recent 6666 posts, which is enough for most users :)

https://forums.gentoo.org/search.php?search_author=NeddySeagoon for me.

I won't post your link.

Oh, make sense. Perhaps it could've said something like "showing x of nn". My first thought was "are they gone?" :)

But really, what link? In "Search" I can enter my username and get all of them, but I don't have such link in my profile...?

Thanks :)

G3nt00,

From your profile ...
Code:
Total posts:     241
[0.00% of total / 2.65 posts per day]
Find all posts by G3nt00

That last entry is the link you need.

You don't think that may be an admin-thing? I find that link nowhere... Is this where it should be?

Wow, didn't actually realize this wasn't the same as in the
Code:
  FAQ | Search | Memberlist | Usergroups | Statistics | Profile | You have no new messages | Log out [ G3nt00 ]

I simply though "Profile" would take me to the profile page, but indeed to edit of the same instead. Yet another thing learned today! Thanks :)

One way to search all the topics you've posted:
https://forums.gentoo.org/search.php?show_results=topics&search_author=<your_username_here>

G3nt00,

I don't think I've ever used that Profile option at the top.
I click the profile button under a post and get an extra admin link to edit the profile.

That's something we have both learned today. :)
