Hello, I want to try out the programming language dev-lang/gleam. Gleam recently released it's stable version 1.0.0. https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/dev-lang/gleam is on version 0.34.1. So I updated the gleam ebuild in my local repository. It works very well on my system. Instead of waiting for the package maintainer, maybe I can push or pull-request my ebuild so the maintainer has less work?

I read somewhere that I can file a bump version request, but I couldn't find it anymore and I don't know if this even welcome. I've no experience with building or updating ebuilds and this is my first one. Can someone tell how I can proceed to get version 1.0.0 into gentoo packages?

PS: The ebuild is very large due the lines of dependencies, so I don't want to post it here. Let me know if some wants to see it.
