The touchpad on Linux, using Xorg and Xfce, feels like having a short lag of about 100ms or more, compared to Windows.

When starting to move the pointer, the reaction is always about 100ms behind which makes it a bit uncomfortable to use compared to a wired mouse.
Is there anything I can do to avoid or measure the lag?
