|

I am trying to get the Go libvirt module (https://pkg.go.dev/libvirt.org/go/libvirt ) installed on my system, but I am running into a couple issues.
The first issue is that when I read through the documentation (linked earlier)., it says that I need "libvirt-dev", but it doesn't seems like Gentoo provides any sort of package for that. Does anyone know how I would actually go about installing that?
The second issue (and not directly a Gentoo issue, but more of a Go help thing), I'm running into this issue actually installing the module:
Code: |
go: downloading libvirt.org/go/libvirt v1.10003.0
package libvirt.org/go/libvirt is not a main package
|
Has anyone been able to successfully install this module? |

app-emulation/libvirt should be the equivalent of 'libvirt-dev' as it should include headers (they're always installed on Gentoo). |
