|
|
Hi. i`m trying to make a "Safe" 3-stage python upgrade, the first stage with Quote: | */* PYTHON_TARGETS: -* python3_11 python3_12
*/* PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET: -* python3_11
|
It was done without any errors. But when i changed it to Code: | */* PYTHON_TARGETS: -* python3_11 python3_12
*/* PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET: -* python3_12 |
then emerge --update--deep --newuse world says
Code: | !!! The ebuild selected to satisfy ">=app-cdr/cdemu-2.0.0[cdemu-daemon]" has unmet requirements.
- app-cdr/cdemu-3.2.5::gentoo USE="cdemu-daemon" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="-python3_10 -python3_11"
The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
exactly-one-of ( python_single_target_python3_10 python_single_target_python3_11 )
(dependency required by "app-cdr/kcdemu-0.8.0::gentoo" [installed])
(dependency required by "@selected" [set])
(dependency required by "@world" [argument])

Looks like cdemu just dont have the python 3_12 use flag. But this page https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/app-cdr/cdemu says that it actually have. I did emerge --sync today, but still no changes. equery u cdemu on my pc says this
Code: | * Found these USE flags for app-cdr/cdemu-3.2.5:
U I
+ + cdemu-daemon : Pull app-cdr/cdemu-daemon dependency, useful in chroot environment (bug #315491). Do not disable until you know what you are doing.
- - python_single_target_python3_10 : Build for Python 3.10 only
- + python_single_target_python3_11 : Build for Python 3.11 only
|
what should i do to complete the upgrade? |

3.2.5.-r1 has it. Add it to package.accept_keywords.
Also consider removing it. When I upgraded, I removed that package, since I only needed it once and even had forgotten I had it installed.
Best Regards,
Georgi

Sorry if my additional comment confused you. If you need more information how to do that, look here: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki//etc/portage/package.accept_keywords
