After recent update, I ran eclean distfiles and there was a problem as seen below:

I do have "octave" installed and I saw the NEWS item #1 regarding octave being removed from science overlay.
But these message do not mention anything related to octave.
eclean distfiles did proceed and removed 64 files and freed 1.8G of space. I do not know whether it ran completely though.

This is portage saying there's something unsupported in science overlay. I think you can safely disregard it. Or you can file an issue on the science GitHub repo.
