I've installed ebook-tools, zathura-cb and zathura-pdf-poppler.
| Code: | $ zathura my_book.epub
error: Could not determine file type. |
Zathura opens up with a blank page.
I remember that with Archlinux installing ebook-tools was enough to make it working.

| Does it work if you get zathura to use the mupdf backend, rather than the poppler backend, by installing app-text/zathura-pdf-mupdf? The mupdf backend works for me (and i prefer not to use poppler anyway). |
