Hey, all, I'm experiencing the following error when I plug in any removable media:
Code:

Unable to mount "XXX" GB Volume
Not authorized to perform operation

The "XXX" is the size of the media I'm attempting to mount. I haven't used removable media in some time, but I was going to make a live USB of Linux Mint for an old laptop, and I get that error, no matter what drive I plug in... This used to work, there's got to be a certain permission somewhere that will allow removable media to be mounted as user... I just can't remember where to look... I could put a mount point in /etc/fstab, but I don't want to have to do that for all the different flash drives I use at times...

Thanks!

Todd

What generates that message? It does not look like the output of mount, so I suspect you are using some Desktop Environment (which one?) that tries to do this for you, and fails.
