Anyone with an amd gpu, of any recent make noticing performance cut by a third to half on kernels newer than 6.10.7?
I'm currently using an 7900 xt.
Using mangohud on the affected kernels, i've noticed the card using roughly 100w less than it should. About 170-180 watts if on the 'oc' vbios switch, and about 160 on the normal clocks switch. When is should be about 280ish watts on the oc setting and 256 watts on the non oc setting.

From a quick look, my RX 5700 XT seems to be happily drawing ~220W according to 'lm-sensors' (cap at 220), when running Unigine Valley, and 'gentoo-sources-6.10.9'. _________________ Kindest of regardses. |

After some digging it seems the card no longer fully boosts up to it's full boost clock. editing the topic title. |
