Does it work on gentoo? Or any other arcade sticks that you can confirm to work on gentoo?

I can't confirm personally, but it seems to work on linux so I don't see why it can't work on gentoo.

I have one 8-bitdo game pad, with bt and usb connectivity. I remember it being basically plug and play.

My 8bitdo Pro 2 controller works fine on Gentoo. I forget exactly what my settings are off-hand but the only actual issue I've had has been getting the motion controls to work, which I think has more to do with me than it. No problems with automatic pairing over bluetooth etc though.
