I try to uninstall the fcitx 4 in my gentoo
but it says no matching atoms found, but acually, i have fctix4 in my gentoo

You would need to remove app-i18n/kcm-fcitx and app-i18n/fcitx-qt5 first.
As per https://fcitx-im.org/wiki/Upgrade_from_Fcitx_4 :
app-i18n/fcitx5-configtool:5 with kcm USE can replace the former
app-i18n/fcitx-qt can replace the latter for app-i18n/fcitx:5 |

hi grknight, i update fcitx to 5 and fcitx-rime to app-i18n/fcitx-rime-5.1.8:5::gentoo.
but now i cant input chinese and cant config fcitx5 to use rime |

I'm sorry, but I do not use this software. I can only tell from the packages and the online link any suggestions to the original question. |
